Art, wine and song

Combining forces, 3 local artists hosted an art Exhibition at a magazine shoot-ready home in Northcliff for art-lovers. With paintings, installations, film and structures scattered throughout the home, guests felt at home, and glass of wine in hand slowly soaked up and bought must-have pieces.

It was a pleasure to perform violin music wafting through the halls as guests browsed, while taking in some breathtaking artworks myself. Definitely food for the soul!

‘Let’s do it, let’s fall in love’…. so goes the chorus of Cole Porters memorable song ‘Let’s fall in Love’.
With spring in the air and blossoms on the trees, Shepstone’s Garden was a perfect setting for this mid-week engagement event… and she said yes!

Happy Birthdaygram!

I was booked to perform at a birthday event this weekend where the birthday girl had put in so much planning to make her special day tops. With the current quarantine measures in place, no public celebrations are happening. As a birthday gesture I recorded a happy birthdaygram for her to add a special touch to her private celebrations at home.

The birthdaygram is available here:

While the Sandton skyline twinkled as the backdrop to a private event at Higher Ground, guests mingled and listened to some funky violin music before settling into to a delicious meal. The organiser was most pleased and described the violin entertainment as ‘just perfect and setting the right tone for the event’.

Tins and Timber-VioRimba

VioRimba is adds a twist on the traditional marimba band format by adding violin as a melody instrument to the group. Not just any violin though, this is one of a kind tin-can violin in keeping with the proudly South African tone of the group. This snap was thanks to Lood Goosen at a recent event at The Capital, Menlyn on Maine.

Small Business, Big Hearts

The energy in networking café was palpable as small business owners, eager to grow and learn swapped details and later learned about the SME organisation.

It was invigorating to meet and perform violin for so many small businesses hungry to succeed, and to have met SME that make it all possible.
