A break-up song, change the world ditty and a wedding entrance tune
All in a week’s recording session work. The range of songs and styles is fun to record to. This week I had a break-up song followed by a song about making the world a better place ( as we should) and ended with a wedding processional song recording. I’ve copied a link of one of the songs, can you guess which song this is for?
Art, wine and song
Combining forces, 3 local artists hosted an art Exhibition at a magazine shoot-ready home in Northcliff for art-lovers. With paintings, installations, film and structures scattered throughout the home, guests felt at home, and glass of wine in hand slowly soaked up and bought must-have pieces.
It was a pleasure to perform violin music wafting through the halls as guests browsed, while taking in some breathtaking artworks myself. Definitely food for the soul!
Awards Evening
A performance for internal staff awards event at The University of Johannesburg was the lovely cosy spot for tonight’s event. The campus grounds were lush with the Jacarandas just coming into bloom.
It was the first evening that the staff of the department had all been in the same room since the start of the pandemic, making for a warm , joyful mood as guests caught up and as one guest remarked -she was so happy to be dressed up to the nines again!
Sunset on the Fairway

The theme for the evening was ‘Denim and White’ – an elegant yet laid-back feel awards dinner for a corporate. Thanks to Esse Naidoo-Posokhov @inthemidnightevents for putting a stunning event together.
40th Birthday Bash
Nestled in a lush green garden was a laid-back setting for an outdoor 40th birthday bash. Special requests for this event included Classical music and some Irish tunes and a smattering of Big Band favourites.
Violin Recording Sessions
Write a poem for a loved-one, have it set to music and for a special touch add a violin recording to add extra heart-string tugs. Just finished recording a violin session for a bespoke gift song written by a husband to his wife for their upcoming anniversary.
Spring Weddings
Spring is in the air! Playing ‘Spring’ by Vivaldi at a recent wedding, so lovely to have some birds chirping along. It seemed fitting to play ‘Spring’ and join the chorus of birds!
Fundraising Event
A sunny day outside with wonderful sponsors such as Kia Motors Silverlakes adding some excitement to the SAACA fundraising event this morning at Lombardy Boutique Hotel.
