Autumn is a beautiful time to have a wedding as the days get crisper and the leaves turn to gorgeous golden browns. This wedding at the sumptuous White Light venue set a picturesque backdrop for an Autumn Wedding.
The wedding colours were warm rustics and natural elements, as well as some beautiful pink roses.
An autumn wedding in the Freestate, golden wild grass, cosmos flowers and wide open spaces made for a most enjoyable gig road trip.
A lovely couple who recently tied the knot at Summerplace had this to say:
‘I have to tell you, you were the best for the function I regret not having you for the whole evening, you were amazing.’
With the year still feeling fresh this beautiful spot in nature was the setting for a morning wedding event.
It has been a weekend of natural beauty after my band Cherry Pill just returned from a concert out in the Magaliesberg.

A beautiful day it was this past weekend in the bushveld, elephants and wildebeest in view.
The bride left this lovely message: Dear Kristel thank-you for being such a great part of our wedding day, you played beautifully and I cannot imagine the day without you because you made our wedding a true fairy tale!
These sweeties were too cute not to blog about. It is a heart-warming moment when little flower girls or page boys walk in whilst I am playing a wedding entrance or exit song. These 4 little ones melted everyone’s hearts in their matching floral dresses.
How did a wedding reception end up on the streets of Sandton? The recent reception event hosted at the superb Wombles Restaurant had a team of photographers with a keen sense of fun. So much so that when not dining on delicious food we were outside basically playing in the traffic. The audience, consisting of car guards and restaurant patrons, applauded my solo renditions in the street whilst Candice from Belladucci Photography snapped away, waiting for the car lights to be ‘just right’!
Please take care though if you ever attempt something similar.
Wedding season continues as the long Summer months lazily stretch on. This wedding event was at the Hertford Hotel in Lanseria.
The venue has a serene all-white chapel which is where this photo was taken. A lovely couple and a beautiful venue, made the day a treat!
A wedding with a difference today, I’m on set to film a wedding for the Reality Show ‘Married at First Sight’.
I can’t say too much about today as the show will only be aired in October this year, but for now I can share the beautiful setting at Faircity Roodevlei overlooking the river.
