With my violin replaced by a bunch of bright balloons and a hamper of champagne, I set off to deliver a musical telegram, a message sung to the well-known ‘Time after Time’ by Cindy Lauper. The celebration was for a local company merger with a new supplier.
The balloons caused quite a stir at the office block and the look of surprise and engagement on the faces of the board-meeting members as I sang the message, was priceless.
Love is in the air. This pic was snapped while performing violin at a private event at a romantic spot for a couple getting engaged.

A Christmas Concert with the collaborating musicians from Christ Church Midrand and Rosebank Union Church with special guest conductor Noel Tredennick from All Souls, London.
Beautiful arrangements of Christmas Carols old and new had people heartily singing along.
The opening of the Christian Dior Store in Menlyn caused quite a stir and had shoppers stopping in their tracks, phone cameras in hand. Beautiful cosmetics, personalised engravings of perfume bottles and and a larger than life violinist welcoming guest into the store.
My team and I had to figure out a way of providing the ‘Ethaerial Violin’ act, but due to height restrictions, without any rigging. It was a good challenge and we’re thrilled to be able to present a ground based, low-tech version of Ethaerial Violin. If you are looking for something that makes a larger than life impact, but is elegant and engaging, get in touch!
Added some extra glam to this event with the Red Carpet Violinist at a recent gala dinner event.
Some spectacular new jets setting the stage for an afternoon on a runway with guest admiring the new aircraft perfectly positioned with the Magaliesberg mountains in the distance. Some sophisticated violin music added the sound track along with the occasional chink of cocktail glasses. The day ended off with a tour of the jets, this is indeed travel in style!

While the Sandton skyline twinkled as the backdrop to a private event at Higher Ground, guests mingled and listened to some funky violin music before settling into to a delicious meal. The organiser was most pleased and described the violin entertainment as ‘just perfect and setting the right tone for the event’.

VioRimba is adds a twist on the traditional marimba band format by adding violin as a melody instrument to the group. Not just any violin though, this is one of a kind tin-can violin in keeping with the proudly South African tone of the group. This snap was thanks to Lood Goosen at a recent event at The Capital, Menlyn on Maine. https://www.lwgphoto.co.za/
