It’s Matric Dance season, although I last went to one many moons ago, it was great to welcome Matrics and their parents to a pre-party cocktails event with some violin music.

A glittering awards evening for YLC at Investec for an event honouring women in leadership and achievement. Ladies were treated to a musical walk down the red carpet on arrival.
Opening Act
Beauty and the Beat were asked to be the opening act for a well-known local artist this past weekend. Though the event was in a small town community, the crowd had big hearts , enjoying every minute of the show as did we!

All That Glitters…
A ‘Spring Soiree’ was the theme for this event, with breakfast served alongside classical music played by come-to-life golden statues.

With Conferences and events getting into swing again, the mood at this IT conference was upbeat as delegates were excited to be back at in-person gatherings again. The colourful mood of this IT event was captured by the winged-photo booth station.

To create lively a atmosphere at a recent SA Cricket event, VioRimba serenaded guests adding some local flavour and feel-good vibes. Think Marimbas, Africa drums and a one-of -a-kind Tin Can Violin and you have a recipe for local entertainment that is elegant yet vibrant.
All Lit Up
Taking our costume cue from the Tech-Forward themed event, Beauty and the Beat were lit up in LEDs and presented an innovative performance. A short video from the evening of our version the jazz classic “Fever” is available here: Fever Video Beauty and the Beat
You’ll see the LED lights twinkling and a few audience members ‘clicking’ along to the memorable bassline.

Beauty and the Beat performed a high impact, entertaining set for Bravo Brands Corporate Event held at Emperor’s Palace. Something we haven’t performed for a while is the song “Human” by Rag ‘n Bones Man, well it brought the house down, the audience loved the variety of the songs and were left uplifted and ready to party.
