Having played for a couple of recordings recently, varying from bohemian, to love song, to Latin pop, one client sent such a lovely testimonial:

‘Thank you Kristel. Your violin weaves in and out like a benevolent spirit, providing a soothing element to the song’s capricious febrility’.
Much obliged, Kevin.

Way up high a tender feel-good tune rings out on electric violin while text, projected onto the long skirt sends motivational messages to the audience. A break-up song, change the world ditty and a wedding entrance tune

All in a week’s recording session work. The range of songs and styles is fun to record to. This week I had a break-up song followed by a song about making the world a better place ( as we should) and ended with a wedding processional song recording. I’ve copied a link of one of the songs, can you guess which song this is for?

Thanks to ‘It’s Classical’ for adding my new song ‘ Wildflower’ to their fine playlist. It features new classical compositions as well as re-arrangements of classical works.

Well worth a listen . Great for studying , chilling, driving or de-stressing too!

Art, wine and song

Combining forces, 3 local artists hosted an art Exhibition at a magazine shoot-ready home in Northcliff for art-lovers. With paintings, installations, film and structures scattered throughout the home, guests felt at home, and glass of wine in hand slowly soaked up and bought must-have pieces.

It was a pleasure to perform violin music wafting through the halls as guests browsed, while taking in some breathtaking artworks myself. Definitely food for the soul!
