Autumn is a beautiful time to have a wedding as the days get crisper and the leaves turn to gorgeous golden browns. This wedding at the sumptuous White Light venue set a picturesque backdrop for an Autumn Wedding.
The wedding colours were warm rustics and natural elements, as well as some beautiful pink roses.
An autumn wedding in the Freestate, golden wild grass, cosmos flowers and wide open spaces made for a most enjoyable gig road trip.
Cupid is still at work, playing for a romantic proposal event, riverside views and a 5 star bush experience.
Another online violin session done and dusted. It is so interesting to play the varied range of compositions that come through for session work. Today’s one was a little country number about a dorpie.

The Wheel Keeps Turning (instrumental)-A rock inspired instrumental
This instrumental version of Wheel Keeps Turning (vocal version as recorded by Cherry Pill) reflects the the ever-changing seasons of life. The song draws on imagery from the world around to represent how life and times can change.
‘Seasons come, seasons go, but there’s one thing that I know; it’s that the wheel comes around again’.
The song could be described as well delivered rock sound where the solo violin melody pairs up with the gritty guitars, including some blues-tinged phrasing and a bit of dramatic flair in the string accompaniment.

Lights, camera, action… a day on set for the filming of a proposal scene.
I can’t give any details, but for fans of local drama shows, you’re in for a treat!
Some guide dogs in training were part of today’s audience at Fourways Mall festive entertainment. The pups were intrigued and loved the music!
The latest session project was for a mini string orchestra.
After some special requests to hear the viola I took a quick video while recording. The feedback on this project was just fantastic, I am so enjoying being able to record for composers/songwriters all over the world!
‘Kristel recorded violin and viola parts for a musical theater song and I am not exaggerating when I say I had goosebumps when I first heard them! Her communication during the process was thorough and stress-free and her asking price was extremely fair… This talented young woman will not disappoint you and I could not be happier!’

Guess who made a guest appearance at yesterday’s music video shoot? Everything was perfect, the rain held back, the golden sunlight softly lighting the veld scene where we were about to shoot a music video for Christmas. Then just as we were ready to begin, the local grazers decided they would like to feature in the video and wandered into shot!
